Now, by no means am I calling myself an expert, however like me 6 months ago I’m sure that there are a lot of people who don’t understand how to use LinkedIn, and moreover which aspects of this great tool to capitalize on to make it beneficial for you.
Regardless of the size of your business, you will see LinkedIn benefits – I can almost guarantee it, as the people on LinkedIn are there to promote and grow their business just like you.
Being active on LinkedIn is the key and once you are up and running it only takes on average 10 -15 minutes per day.
One of the most powerful concepts I have found using LinkedIn is that it finds the right people AND the connections you have with them. It makes the networks of the people we know visible and shows us our second and third degree networks and the paths towards them, which has tremendous value.
It has also kept me in the loop with topics that mean most to me and has helped me find new opportunities.
So 6 months on, I now understand the benefits LinkedIn has for business and will continue to learn and expand my network on LinkedIn.
